Abstract:	Archbishop Emeritus Paul Cremona was laid to rest following a Church-State funeral at St John’s Co-Cathedral in Valletta. Mgr Cremona, who passed away at age 79, was remembered by Archbishop Charles Scicluna during the homily as a man with a "sweet and humble heart". The service was attended by high-ranking officials, including President Myriam Spiteri Debono and Prime Minister Robert Abela. Scicluna emphasized Cremona’s deep roots in the Dominican Order and his ministry of reconciliation since his 2007 ordination as Archbishop. Messages from Pope Francis and the Dominican Order in Rome were read, offering condolences to the Maltese people. Following the cathedral mass, Mgr Cremona was buried privately in Rabat.
