Abstract: Manoel Theatre presents the programme for three performances to be held as part of the Manoel Baroque Festival 2003: An organ recital performed by organist Francesco Finotti, with violin accompaniment from violinist Marco Fornaciari; A choral concert of sacred music by Maltese composers (1600-1750) conducted by Joseph Vella and performed by the Laudate Pueri Choir; and a concert of Baroque trio sonatas performed by violinist Nadia R. DeBono, violist Mario Frendo, cellist Simon Abdilla Joslin, and harpsichordist Davinia Galea. The organ recital featured the musical works of Bach. The choral concert featured the musical works of Giuseppe Balzano, M.A. Vella, and Girolamo Abos. The concert of Baroque trio sonatas featured the musical works of Telemann, Vivaldi, and Albinoni. The organ recital was held in collaboration with the Istituto Italiano di Cultura and the Mdina Rehabilitation Project, on the 6th of May, 2003, at the Mdina Cathedral. The choral concert by Laudate Pueri Choir was held on the 7th of May, 2003, at St. John's Co-Cathedral, and the concert of Baroque trio sonatas was on the 9th of May 2003, at Għarb Parish Church, in Gozo.
