Abstract: Manoel Theatre present the programme for the a concert performed by the Martinů String Quartet (led by Lubomír Havlák), alongside pianist Christopher Langdown. The Martinů String Quartet was made up of violinists Lubomír Havlák and Petr Mateják, violist Jan Jisa, and cellist Jitka Vlasánková. The concert featured the musical works of Vilém Tauský, Elgar and Dvořák. The performance was held on the 16th of February, 2004, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta.
Description: Two copies of programme included, one with performers' signatures, and the other without. Both programmes include list of Manoel Theatre Management Committee, list of sponsors to the Manoel Theatre Management Committee, notes with details on performances and bookings at the Manoel Theatre, list of forthcoming events at the Manoel Theatre, note with photo on pianist Christopher Langdown, note with group photo on the Martinů String Quartet, list of featured music including composers, note on featured composer Vilém Tauský, essays on featured music including some biographical notes, note advertising the Theatre Museum, note advertising the Manoel Theatre Shop, and note advertising related food establishments Café Diva and Ristorante de Vilhena.
