| Abstract: | The Friends of the Manoel Theatre present the programme for a concert of operatic songs, presented by compere Joe Fenech, and starring singers Rosabelle Bianchi (soprano), Louiselle Pace Gouder (soprano), Anita Saliba (soprano), Claudia Tabone (soprano), Marouska Attard (mezzo soprano), Sandra Scicluna (mezzo soprano), Charles Vella Zarb (tenor), Charles Vincenti (tenor), Kevin Caruana (baritone), and James Vella Bondin (bass). The concert featured piano accompaniment from pianists Cynthia Genovese and Claire Massa. The concert featured the musical works of Purcell, Mozart, Rossini, Donizetti, Tosti, Verdi, Bizet, Delibes, Massenet, Mascagni, and Pergolesi. The performance was held on the 21st of April, 2005, at Sala Isouard, in the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
