Abstract: Manoel Theatre and Bank of Valletta (BOV) present the programme for the 3-act tragic opera "Rigoletto", written by Francesco Maria Piave, with music composed by Giuseppe Verdi, and artistically directed by Miriam Gauci (with assistant John Gauci), with musical direction from Michael Laus. The performance was held as part of the BOV Opera Festival 2006. The performance featured the Orkestra Nazzjonali (led by Marcelline Agius), and the Manoel Theatre Opera Chorus (directed by chorus master Christopher Muscat and assistant Joe Fenech). The performance also featured choreography created by Tanya Bayona. The performance was held on the 15th and the 17th of March, 2006, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta.
