| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre and Masquerade present the programme for the 2-act musical based on Dr. Seuss' works "Seussical", written by Lynn Ahrens (who also wrote its lyrics) and Stephen Flaherty (who also composed its music), and directed by Anthony Bezzina, with musical direction from Andy Reiss. The performance featured an orchestra led by Paul Abela, and featured choreography created by Alison White. The performance was held from the 21st till the 23rd, and from the 28th till the 30th of April, 2006, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
| Description: | Two copies of programme included, one with casts'/crews' signatures, and the other without. Both programmes include director's note written by director Anthony Bezzina, note on Dr Seuss and the production written by U.S Ambassador in Malta Molly H. Bordanaro with her photo, notes with photos on costume designer Ernest Camilleri, set designer Peter Howitt, producer/costume supervisor Veronica Bezzina, director/producer Anthony Bezzina, musical director Andy Reiss and choreographer Alison White, rehearsal photos, list of musical numbers in each act, group photo of cast and some chorus members, notes with photos on cast members Steve Hili, Roger Tirazona, Julie Zahra, Emily Jones, David Ellul Mercer, Rachel Darmanin Demajo, Noel Zarb, Clare Ghigo, Jan Zammit, Raquela Dalli Gonzi, Elaine Camilleri, Louisa Wirth, Ruth Attard, Eleanor Spiteri, Kristian Maylor and Andre George Agius, lists of cast and chorus members, list of orchestra members, list of production team, note on Masquerade Theatre Company and Masquerade Theatre Arts School, and note advertising Masquerade's forthcoming production "Dumb Show" to be held in June.
