Teatru unplugged nine (Programme)

Abstract

Manoel Theatre presents the programme for the 9th edition of the event "Teatru Unplugged", produced by Nirvana Azzopardi, Dave Shaw, and Johnathan Shaw, and presented by TV presenters of Zoo Entertainment Company Owen Bonnici, Chrysander Agius and Daniel Chircop. The event featured performances from the musical groups "Chasing Pandora", "Brikkuni", "Muzzle", and "Rug". The event also featured a performance from singer Ira Losco, who was supported by guitarists Alex Mallia and Adam Bonello, bassist Nadienne Sacco, drummer Steve 'Cannibal' Muscat, and cellist Eva Julia. The featured group "Chasing Pandora" was made up of singer/songwriter Melissa Portelli and singer/songwriter/acoustic guitarist Keith Anthony, and performed with accompaniment on synthesizer from Ismael Azzopardi. The featured Maltese folk band "Brikkuni" was made up of singer Mario Vella, guitarist Steve Delia, clarinettist Ruth Abela, bassist Thomas Coschieri, pianist Antoine Vella, drummer Michael Galea, and cellist Roberta Attard. The featured rock band "Muzzle" was made up of singer Charles Busuttil, guitarists Jeremy Micallef and Gino Micallef, pianust Andre Schembri, and drummer Max Attard Portughese. The featured rock band "Rug" was led by singer/guitarist Gianni Zammit, and included drummer Gilberto, pianist/singer Kristiano, bassist/singer Enrico, saxophonist Mario, and guitarist/singer Boris. The event was held from the 1st till the 3rd of December, 2006, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta.
