| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre presents the programme for the International String Orchestra Festival's Gala Concert, artistically directed by Karl Fiorini, and conducted by Bjørn Bantock. The concert featured an orchestra that was led by violinist Matthias Wollong, with 2nd violins leader Emanuel Salvador. The concert featured the musical works of Karl Fiorini, Mozart, Stravinsky, Rodrigo, and Dvořák. The performance was held on the 14th of April, 2007, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. The International String Orchestra Festival was held from the 8th till the 15th of April, 2007. |
| Description: | Two copies of programme included, one with some performers' signatures, and the other without. Both programmes include foreword on the festival written by artistic director Karl Fiorini with his photo, note advertising the Culture 2007 programme, list of featured music including composers and descriptions with few biographical notes, notes with photos on conductor Bjørn Bantock, leader Matthias Wollong and 2nd leader violins Emanuel Salvador, note advertising the Teatru Manoel Wardrobe, notes with photos on principle violist Yuko Inoue, violist Andra Arnicane, principle violoncellist Mats Lidström and double bass leader Katarina Trollhagen, list of sponsors for the International String Orchestra Festival including their logos, and list of acknowledgements.
