| Abstract: | Manuel Abdilla provides a two-part biographical retrospective on Mgr. Joseph Zarb, the dedicated parish priest of Żabbar who oversaw extensive post-war restoration and embellishment of the town's sanctuary. Appointed in 1943, Zarb fulfilled a historic vow by successfully securing Vatican permission to crown the titular painting of Our Lady of Graces. The article highlights his decades of cultural, liturgical, and structural initiatives, including the 1951 coronation festivities, artistic commissions, and the foundation of the Żabbar Sanctuary Museum. |
