| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre and the Richard Tucker Music Foundation present the programme for the concert "Opera Across the Atlantic", conducted by Eugene Kohn, led by Marcelline Agius, and performed by the Orkestra Nazzjonali. The concert was held in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund. The concert starred singers Kate Aldrich (mezzo soprano), Fabio Armiliato (tenor), Patrick Carfizzi (bass-baritone), Daniela Dessì (soprano), Scott Hendricks (baritone), Quinn Kelsey (baritone), Angela Marambio (soprano), Daniela Bruera (soprano), Gaston Rivero (tenor), Neil Shicoff (tenor), and Lina Tetruashvili (soprano). The concert featured music from the operas of Bernstein, Puccini, Bizet, Verdi, Rossini, Giordano, Bellini, and Leoncavallo. The performance was held on the 28th of May, 2007, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
