| Abstract: | Friends of the Manoel present a poster advertising a combined lecture and recital event held in celebration of composer Giacomo Puccini's 150th birthday. The event featured a talk given by music critic Albert Storace on Giacomo Puccini's life and music. The event also featured a recital of famous arias from Puccini's operas, performed by soprano singer Andriana Yodanova, with piano accompaniment from Ramona Zammit Formosa. The event was held on the 21st of February, 2008, at Sala Isouard in the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
