| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre, in collaboration with Bank of Valletta, presents the programme for the 2-act opera "The Magic Flute", written by Emanuel Schikaneder, with music composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and directed by Miriam Gauci. The performance featured the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra (conducted by Michael Laus and led by Marcelline Agius), alongside a choir directed by chorus director Christopher Muscat. The performance was held as part of the 10th edition of the BOV Opera Festival, on the 24th and the 25th of March, 2009, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
