| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre and the Centro Cultural Hispano-Maltés present the programme for a concert held on the occasion of the Centro Cultural Hispano-Maltés' 25th Anniversary. The event featured a musical performance from flautist Silvia Zammit and pianist Ramona Zammit; a lecture on the Sojourn in Malta of Angel de Saavedra, Duque de Rivas (1825 - 1830) given by Prof. Peter Vassallo, a musical performance from guitarist Tony Pace, and a Flamenco dance performance directed and choreographed by Rosanna Maya and performed by the Alegría Dance Company. The musical parts of the event featured the musical works of Tony Pace, Albéniz, Rodrigo, Sor, and Falla. The performance was held on the 25th of June, 2009, at Nicolò Isouard Hall in the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
