Abstract: Manoel Theatre presents the programme for a concert performed by the Versatile Brass Ensemble. The Versatile Brass Ensemble was made up of trumpeters Kevin Abela and Jonathan Borg, hornist Etienne Cutajar, trombonist Jesmond Azzopardi, and tubist Paul Borg. The concert featured the musical works of Joseph Vella, Luther Henderson, Mikhail Glinka, Leonard Bernstein, Suppé, Fauré, and Horovitz. The performance was held on the 7th of April, 2009, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta.
Description: Two copies of programme included, one with performers' signatures, and the other without. Both programmes include essay with related photo on the Versatile Brass Ensemble, list of featured music including composers, notes on featured composers and their featured music written by Maria Blanco, notes with photos on trumpeters Kevin Abela and Jonathan Borg, hornist Etienne Cutajar, trombonist/euphonium player Jesmond Azzopardi, and tubist Paul Borg, and list of Manoel Theatre Management Committee.
