| Abstract: | And here it is, my first issue as Editor-in-Chief of the Stanislavski Studies journal! I think it was about a year ago that Prof. Paul Fryer had first suggested and encouraged me to consider taking this role. It was very easy for me to say “yes,” given my interest in Stanislavsky, modern theatre, and actor training, not to mention the fantastic company I am here in. I can only thank Paul for his wonderful work and leadership during the first decade of the journal’s life – creating a journal from scratch is certainly no mean feat, and I hope to keep developing the journal and to build on his work and example. I would also like to thank the Editorial Board for their immediate support, and I am sure it will be a pleasure to work together on the journal. I would also like to thank the outgoing Book Reviews Editor, David Matthews, and to welcome Assistant Professor Alisa Ballard Lin, of the Ohio State University, who is joining our team as Editor.
