| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre and Bank of Valletta present the libretti for the 1-act comic opera "La Cambiale Di Matrimonio" (written by Gaetano Rossi to music composed by Gioacchino Rossini) and the 1-act opera "Aleko" (written by Vladimir Nemirovich-Danchenko to music composed by Sergei Rachmaninov), alongside their English translations. The performance using this libretto was held as part of the 11th edition of the BOV Opera Festival, on the 17th and the 19th of March, 2010, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
