| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre and Lions Club Sliema present the programme for an enchanted evening concert of songs and arias, starring soprano singer Nicola Said, baritone singer Joseph Lia, and pianist Ian Peter Bugeja. The concert also featured the Malta Opera Ensemble, under the direction of Alice Horne. The concert featured the musical works of Mozart, Verdi, Gounod, Delibes, Chaminade, Fauré, Rachmaninov, Rimsky-Korsakov, Vaughan Williams, Bernstein, and Gershwin. The concert was held on the 14th of January, 2010, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
