| Abstract: | The objective of this dissertation is to study and apply statistical methods to the Traveller Survey involving Likert scales. A typical approach is through factor analysis but an alternative method is by parceling. In this study, we are considering these two data reduction approaches, together with two extraction methods to obtain a set of factor scores. In conclusion, we finalise this study by considering a relationship of the factor scores with the socio-demographic variables of the tourist. |
