| Abstract: | Professor Anati wrote this book in English in the early months of 1987 and entitled it The plaza sites of Har Karkom. By the summer of that same year, Paola Rapelli had already produced the Italian version of the book. The author purports to study the so-called 'plaza sites' which surround Har Karkom, a mountain situated in the desert of the Negev. He deals with the research which he had done in 1986. His work is based mainly on observation rather than on excavation (page 11); sondages and surface surveys are the source of his evidence. |
