This book has left the reviewer with mixed feelings. On one hand, here is a book that is well written and well documented; on the other hand, some of the claims made by Whitelam do jar. Whilst reading this book, one finds oneself passing from a feeling of pleasure to one of annoyance, from enthusiasm to intellectual discomfort. |
