Event: Workshop - Centre of Excellence in Radio Astronomy and Machine Learning - CERAML
Date: 25 - 27 March 2024
Venue: Aula Prima, University of Malta Valletta Campus
The CERAML workshop is targeted at students (undergraduate, MSc, and PhD), postdocs, and academics with an interest in cutting edge Machine Learning (ML) techniques, and their use in emergent problems in radio astronomy. Students following courses in ICT, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, and other numerate sciences are invited to attend this 3-day workshop where experts in the field will showcase current trends in the application of deep learning to radio astronomy problems, as well as mentor a number of hands-on sessions.
Registration is free, but places are limited, and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration includes access to all sessions, coffee breaks and a lunch reception on all workshop days.

Admission Requirements
Attendees should have good knowledge and be proficient in Python programming and be interested in applied machine learning.
