Another yearly appointment with our “HABITS FOR SUCCESS” Erasmus+ programme has been marked on JC’s calendar this February. The Junior College hosted the Malta Week as part of this project with visiting students from Belgium, Germany and Spain who were all involved in a week-long exchange between 2 and 6 of February 2026.
Through interactive workshops, students explored key life skills such as financial literacy, effective time management, and the importance of healthy lifestyle habits. A strong emphasis was placed on overall well-being, highlighting how balanced routines and positive habits contribute to long-term success.
A standout moment of the programme was a hands-on creative workshop where participants designed personalised tote bags. This activity encouraged creativity, mindfulness, and self-expression, while reinforcing the idea that personal growth also involves nurturing individual talents.
Students also took part in guided reflection sessions to identify their strengths and leadership potential, empowering them to take ownership of their academic and professional journeys.
Overall, the exchange provided practical tools for building positive habits and maintaining a proactive, balanced lifestyle, while strengthening collaboration and cultural awareness among participants.
The follow up phases of the project starting this spring will involve the Maltese students in visits to their Belgian, Spanish and German counterparts.
This project is co-financed by the Erasmus+ Accreditation, and coordinated by the JC International Office.
