Last June, a group of six lecturers from the Junior College participated in an Erasmus+ project coordinated by the JC International Office. The course was held between 13 and 17 June, at the Erasmus Learning Academy in Bologna.
The five-day course entitled ‘Effective Formative Assessment and Feedback Management in Education’ was specifically designed to meet the needs of the Junior College learning environment. During the course, the participants became familiar with the key principles and benefits of using formative assessment as an instructional strategy. The sessions also involved hands-on training on a wide variety of formative assessment tools. The participants plan to share this knowledge with other members of staff during the coming academic year.
This participation was funded by the Erasmus+ programme under the Junior College KA1 School Education Accreditation strategy.
