EMCER – the Euro-Mediterranean Centre for Educational Research – has published another volume in its series with Brill. The series, which is dedicated to Comparative Education in the Mediterranean Region, already features 8 volumes, which are marketed internationally under a joint Brill-EMCER imprint.
The latest volume is titled Enacting and Conceptualising Educational Leadership within the Mediterranean Region, and is co-edited by Denise Mifsud and Paolo Landri. Besides individual and jointly authored papers by the co-editors, the volume features contributions by scholars from Algeria, Cyprus, Israel, Italy, Portugal and Spain. The papers are informed by a range of critical theories, with a view to problematizing dominant technocratic discourses and policies of educational leadership in the region.
Further details about this volume are available online.
Denise Mifsud is Principal of the Gozo College, and has published books on education with Bloomsbury, Palgrave, and Springer. Paolo Landri is Senior Researcher at the National Research Council (IRPPS-CNR) in Italy, and his work has been published by Bloomsbury and by Routledge. Both have published several papers in peer reviewed international journals.
The general editor of the Brill series is Prof. Ronald G. Sultana, EMCER director.
