An online course, videos, training materials and experiences were produced for product continuation. The project was entitled Development Counts: Data Skills for International Development Careers, funded by Erasmus+ scheme of the European Union. The course aimed to understand the current and future data skills needs of development sector employees. Interviews with professionals were held across the 4 countries.
The insights were used to create new data skills learning and teaching resources as well as career profiles. Student input was pivotal through the activities by undergraduate students from Malta, Spain, the UK and Turkey who have been working in teams to complete development data projects. The end of project meeting culminated in a visit to view data in 3D at the SIntegraM Immersion Lab at the Faculty of Media & Knowledge Sciences (MAKS).
