A second ERASMUS Mundus Master's degree has been secured by a consortium including the University of Malta through its Department of Arts, Open Communities and Adult Education at the Faculty of Education.
This international Master's degree is in Education in Museums and Heritage. As with the highly successful International Master in Adult Education and Social Change (IMAESC), which is in its second cycle, this Master's degree programme is spearheaded by the University of Glasgow and includes Higher Education institutions from Malta (the UM), Ireland, Estonia and the Netherlands. There are also a number of associate partners.
Professor Carmel Borg, Head of the Department of Arts, Open Communities and Adult Education, and Professor Peter Mayo, UNESCO Chair in Global Adult Education, are the UM co-coordinators for the project, as with the IMAESC project.
