We are pleased to follow up on the initial idea of compiling the MyWAVE Top 20 publications related to the topics of MyWAVE, published between Sept 2018 to-date. The aim of this publication is to facilitate cross-information between different fields within the network but at the same time all contributing to the further advancing current Microwave hyperthermia and Ablation technologies. Therefore, if during the specified period you published seminal work (incl. reviews) addressing any of the following topics, please add the required information at the link  https://forms.gle/FCBNW1o9xTs7fcJW8 or send an email with your publication to simona.dimeo[at]unipv.it by the end of August 2022, subject: MyWAVE key publications.

Papers should be related to the following:

  • Quality assessment of thermal-based EM technologies;
  • Innovative tools and techniques that are being used for treatment planning and/or monitoring; Evaluation of the accuracy of TP;
  • New thermal-based EM medical applications;
  • Addresses gaps in knowledge of dielectric and thermal properties: measurement methods, error analysis & new dielectric data.

Each author wishing to submit a contribution must write two sentences on why the proposed work is in line with the objectives of COST Action. If you are also interested in providing support as a reviewer of the papers, please also indicate your interest in participating in the review process.

The evaluation of papers will be done by MyWAVE core group and authors of the submitted papers, taking into consideration any conflict of interest. The evaluation will be based on novelty and strong contribution to the MyWAVE objectives, given preference to those publications which resulted from networking activities.

The chosen papers will be featured in a professionally designed graphical abstract that will be featured on the website and made available for download to all MyWAVE network for dissemination.

The final review of all eligible papers will be published in an Open Access journal on emerging clinical technologies.

Looking forward to receiving your contributions.

All info is also uploaded on the website here.

Kind regards,

Simona & Lourdes
