Erasmus+

For general information, information regarding the application process, grants information and all documentation required please consult the International office website.

Note that, the Faculty will only recommend students with an non-weighted average mark of 65% or better for their undergraduate studies up to the nomination period. Moreover, the Faculty will not recommend an exchange in the first semester if a student has to sit for one or more resit examinations in the preceding September session. Once students pass their resit examination/s they may be considered to proceed on mobility for the second semester of the following academic year.

A list of all our partner Universities is available here. Please note that the list includes all SEA-EU Universities. Also, not all placements are available for both UG and PG.

All learning agreements must be approved by the respective Board of Studies prior to departure as advised by the Faculties International Affair Committee. Based on the academic stream please consult the following academics for guidelines on choosing study units at the host institution:

As further guidelines, please refer to these previously approved choices:

Note that unit choices are not limited to either the Universities or streams shown above.

All the required information for your mobility is available here.

A list of all available units for our incoming students is given here.

Please note, that:

  1. You may be informed close to the start of your mobility semester that some of these units will not be running.
  2. Other units at any level on the UM website not on this list are not available to incoming students.

International students are welcome to submit their application for internships at the Faculty of Engineering.
To do so, please:

  1. Browse our website and identify the research topics at UoM you would consider joining for your internship
  2. Send your transcript of studies, a CV and a motivation letter for the research topic/s you have chosen to engineering@um.edu.mt

The Faculty will then pass your documentation to the department/lecturers running that research. You will be notified in a few weeks if any internship is available in your chosen research team/s.
Note that:

  1. Internships may only be carried out if a supervisor may be identified for your internship.
  2. No funding is available for these internships and thus funding should be sought through Erasmus opportunities.
