Abstract: Introduction: Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is a complex and a heterogeneous group of metabolic conditions characterized by elevated levels of blood glucose, caused mainly by impairment of insulin action or insulin secretion, or both. The pathophysiology of T2DM is related to underplaying multiple genes.
