| Abstract: | Background: Recent increases in teenage birth rate have increased public attention on the area of adolescent parenthood, however teenage fathers are often overlooked, especially in the Maltese context. This study therefore aimed to explore the experiences of Maltese teenage fatherhood. An interpretative phenomenological approach was used to highlight the participants’ lived experience and understanding of fatherhood for six Maltese fathers chosen through purposive sampling. |
