| Abstract: | Thia mission was carried out within two weeks May/June, 1965, by Dr. H.J. Plenderleith, Director of the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property, Rome and Dr. Norman Davey. Civil Engineer, late of the Building Research Station, Garston, near Watford, England. The terms of reference were, broadly, to cooperate with the authorities of Malta in examining prehistoric and historic structures with a view to establishing a programme for the conservation of monuments and sites and for their being made available as an attraction for scholars and the general public. |
