Abstract: As one enters the Roman Villa, in the first hall, along with the rest of many pieces of ancient sculptures and pieces of modern sculptures, one finds four busts which, with some attention, one can see great similarities, between them, especially in size, in the construction of the bust, and in style. The thing that gets ones attention is the pair of stripes that fit the lower part of the face going down after the ears onto the shoulders, which at first seem the edges of a veil. Another thing that one notices immediately is the difference in the treatment and the execution of the sculpture from one bust to another. The first one is increasingly naturalistic and the second one more skillful and carefully made.
