Human Language Technology
The Institute offers taught undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Human Language Technology (aka Computational Linguistics or Natural Language Processing).
- B.Sc, (Honours) in Human Language Technology is a programme aimed at students who want to achieve a thorough formation in the foundations of Linguistics and Computing Science, with an emphasis on the knowledge and skills required to become specialists in the computational analysis of language and the development of intelligent, language-sensitive artificial systems.
- M.Sc. in Human Language Science and Technology is a European Masters programme offered by a large consortium of European universities. At the University of Malta, this programme is jointly delivered by the Institute of Linguistics and Language Technology and the Department of Artificial Intelligence.
