Nadia Portelli made Maltese running history when she became the first Maltese to complete the full Everesting. She is one of 330 people, 35 of whom are women, who completed the full Everesting running challenge worldwide. The challenge consists of running up and down a hill of considerable gradient continuously, anywhere in the world until the height of Everest, 8848m is reached. The run has to be completed in a single event without sleeping. Nadia, being a trail runner, chose a technical trail hill and completed the event in 27 hours 35 minutes while covering a distance of 106km repeatedly.
