Andrew graduated from the University of Malta in December 2010 with a Bachelor of Science with specialization in Chemistry and Biology. In July 2011, Andrew was engaged with the University of Malta at the Junior College where he was mainly involved in the day to day running of the Chemistry Laboratories. In May 2014, Andrew moved on to the Department of Chemistry within the University of Malta were he currently occupies the role of a Laboratory officer. His responsibilities include procurement of goods and supplies; helping out during the undergraduate teaching laboratory sessions; assisting students with the use of instrumentation and other duties.

Andrew also plays a significant role within the Forensics team at the University of Malta. Aside of procuring supplies for forensic analysis, he is also actively involved in logistics and the upkeep of the equipment. At present, he is reading for an M.A. part time in Bioethics with the University of Malta where his expertise is ethical issues related to the forensic use of biometric personal data in the criminal justice system.
