Hi! My name is Narelle Brincat, and I am in my third year doing Bachelor’s (Hons) in Anthropology with Sociology. Anthropology has taught me that our shared humanity is built on collective understanding, respect, and dialogue. Values I strive to bring to my role as a student representative. I am passionate about fostering an inclusive environment where every student feels heard and valued. Beyond my studies, I enjoy exploring and creating art, a passion which motivated me to focus my dissertation on tattooing. University life can be stressful, but you don’t have to go through it alone. This is why student reps exist! Whether you need help with uni stuff or just a good chat, reach out to one of us.
Krista chose to study anthropology to gain a deeper understanding of human interaction through culture. She has been greatly intrigued by the significant influence culture has on individual lifestyles, particularly in how culture and religion interact with one another. This interest has led her to focus her dissertation on the study of religious groups outside the dominant Roman Catholic tradition in Malta. In her spare time, Krista likes to experiment with different ways a person chooses to express themselves through artistic methods such as makeup.
