Initially CEER’s work focused on the formal education sector with the development of curriculum material and methodologies in teacher education programmes and supervising research at under and postgraduate level. The field of activity was later extended to include work within the community; cooperation with governmental and non-governmental organisations; and networking with local, regional and international groups/individuals to initiate joint projects. The spread of its field of activity further consolidated CEER's position as the main ESD agency in the country.
