Applicants considered as "Adult Learners" (mature applicants) in terms of paragraph (c) of regulation 6 of the Admissions Regulations must be in possession of those qualifications and/or experience that would satisfy the Faculty Admissions Committee that they have reached the academic standard required to follow the Course with profit. Such applicants shall be required to submit with their application a letter written in English giving their motivation for applying for the Course together with a copy of their Curriculum Vitae (C.V.).

The eligibility of such applicants shall be decided by the University Admissions Board, on the recommendation of the Faculty Admissions Committee, following an interview conducted by an interviewing board appointed for the purpose.

Applications for our February and October intakes have been officially open since the third week in November. You can submit your application online. The Higher Diploma in Organisation and Business Leadership is the ideal programme if you have a background in managerial and/or supervisory positions. The course aims to familiarise you with a range of theories and proven practices that are appropriate to contemporary organisations. Throughout the three-year programme, you will acquire knowledge about several topics which cover important facets in organisation and business leadership. Some of the subjects range from Fundamentals of Management, Consumer Behaviour and financial Intelligence, to Negotiation Skills and Geopolitical and economic contexts of contemporary organisations. In your final year of studies, you will have the opportunity to present a supervised research project that will involve the application of the theory learned into the fieldwork, in order to deal with real-life situations.

This programme of study is governed by the General Regulations for University Undergraduate Awards, 2019 and by the Bye-Laws for the award of Higher Diploma in Organisational and Business Leadership under the auspices of the Faculty of Economics, Management and Accountancy.

By the end of the course, you will be able to:

Define concepts in management and marketing, and how these fit into organisational life.
Describe the Ѩow toҠaspect of planning relates to develop business professionals.
Recognise the stages and processes involved in identifying and screening business opportunities.
Apply legal and governance frameworks to contextual issues in business.
Synthesise business concepts to help develop strategy.
Demonstrate the ability to think critically about a number of business realities.
