SEL Assessment

Advancing Assessment Research and Practices in the Social and Emotional Health of Children and Young People

The Centre for Resilience and Socio Emotional Health has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with SAIL CoLab, INC, an American social behavior assessment and intervention organisation, to engage in collaborative research to guide assessment development and practices designed to advance the improvement of students’ social-emotional functioning and build the capacity of educators and mental health professions in the assessment and intervention of social and emotional health and wellbeing in school children. Amongst others, this collaboration facilitates the development, translation and validation of new and existing assessment tools in social and emotional learning and mental health and wellbeing in children and young people, and a research project on the Maltese National Assessment of Socio-Emotional Wellbeing and Academic Learning Skills (see Our Research).

More information to be provided soon, for further details please contact Ms Natalie Galea.
