Post/s of Part-Time Research Support Officer III
Department of Inclusion and Access to Learning, Faculty of Education
- The Department of Inclusion and Access to Learning requires the services of a Research Support Officer III.
- The ideal candidate should have a PhD degree in the domain of education and experience in the coordination of qualitative research studies related to social issues in education.
- This post will be for a period from 1 May 2025 until 31 December 2025 and will be expected to work a total maximum of 69 hours. The Research Support Officer III will be remunerated at the rate of €17.26 per hour.
- The selected candidate must be living in Malta for the period of employment.
- Candidates must submit their letter of application, a copy of their curriculum vitae and a copy of their certificates to colin.calleja@um.edu.mt and milosh.raykov@um.edu.mt by not later than Monday, 5th May 2025.

Further Information
- The following is a list of tasks that the appointee may be required to:

- Organisation of project meetings;
- Assistance with literature review
- Design of the required administrative and research-related documentation;
- Data collection, preparation of the data for analysis and data analysis;
- Assistance with the preparation of the research report;
- Other duties related to empirical research studies
- The appointee is expected to work:
- on a part-time basis and
- at such places and during such hours as may be determined by the University authorities.
- The selection procedure will involve:
- scrutiny of qualifications and experience claimed and supported by testimonials and/or certificates (copies to be included with the application);
- short-listing; and
- an interview and/or extended interview.
- The appointment will be subject to a probationary period, and to the provisions of the Statutes, Regulations and Bye-Laws of the University which are now or which may hereafter be in force.
