Ethics is taught in primary, middle and secondary schools and this a two- year full-time or three-year part-time course enables graduates to teach ethics at all levels.
Students who follow this course specialise in Pedagogical Content Knowledge, in Educational Context Knowledge and in Educational Research and Inquiry. The main aim of the ethics programme is to promote values that prepare children and youths to live in a responsible manner. It educates students into making responsible judgments on issues that deal with rights, fairness, justice, tolerance, respect and other practical issues that involve moral decisions. This is achieved by promoting shared values that are taught independently of any faith or religious creed.
