The Bareiss Fully Automatic Duratometer Digi Test II (Model: BS 09) is used to measure Shore, Micro, IRHD (international rubber hardness degree), and VLRH (very low rubber hardness) on a variety of elastomers and foam material. It can measure hardness on flat materials as well as convex and concave surfaces by using automatic surface detection technology. In addition to that, the indenter length can be customised so that it can reach any point on the sample which is required for measuring. Scales that can be used for measurement include IRHD L, IRHD N, IRHD Micro, IRHD H, VLRH, SHORE O, SHORE OO, SHORE OOO and Micro SHORE A.
Mitutoyo Rebound Type Portable Metal Hardness Tester (Model: HH-411) is used for the hardness testing of large metal components which cannot be tested using any of the other hardness testers. It can convert the measured values to hardness numbers of the Vickers, Brinell, Rockwell C, Rockwell B, and Shore and to tensile strength, based on Leeb hardness numbers.
