In the course of obtaining the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, I was always swayed towards choosing subjects offered by the SCE Department as my electives. The subjects being offered tend to range anywhere from robotics, image processing, signal processing, and also biomedical engineering, thus providing students with an extremely vast and useful skill set that is well above industry standard. In addition, the staff is always eager to help and guide you every step of the way, thus providing the extra incentive behind selecting subjects being offered by the SCE Department. Naturally, I also decided to pursue my final year project with the SCE department, providing me with endless amounts of opportunities to develop both on a personal and an educational level. Consequently, after obtaining my undergraduate degree I immediately had a vast number of opportunities, but ultimately decided to pursue the M.Sc. course in Signals, Systems, and Control offered by the SCE department, as it offers a wide array of subjects that have applicability in a vast number of industries.

The units delivered by the systems and control department in my EE engineering degree have been a great help to my career. The particular units of interest were focused on computational intelligence and machine learning. I was able to focus on Computer vison in the final year project with the help of the many lectures and researchers who are experts in the field.
Testimonial: The MSc in Signals, Systems and Control covered a broad range of interesting topics relevant to anyone wishing to pursue further studies in signal processing or control engineering. I enjoyed the variety of the course, especially since I was unsure of the area in which I wished to specialise. I also feel I have grown professionally by tacking the academic challenges presented throughout the course. Finally, obtaining the MSc has opened many doors, enabling me to pursue the next step in my career.
Testimonial: When I finished my Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, deciding which path to choose was a big step. Luckily the Masters in science for Signals Systems and Control, seemed the right decision, since the curriculum described a variety of interesting modules. That paired with the reasonable fee compared to other courses, makes this course highly worthwhile. The course is interesting, informative but academically demanding. However the lecturers and staff are highly knowledgeable, kind and helpful, and will surely help in whatever way they can. After the course was finished I immediately got a number of job offers, ranging from telecommunications, industrial and computer science, showing how much this course opens a slew of opportunities. In conclusion doing a Masters in Signals, Systems and Control is a solid investment in your future!
