About
The CircularB Action aims to establish an international circularity framework for inclusive application and assessment in new and existing buildings. It supports decision-making for all stakeholders in the value chain and evaluates the implementation level of the European Circular Economy Action Plan (ECEAP). This international framework includes a circularity rating tool with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that can be applied and adapted by various countries and regions. A benchmark database, tailored to each country/region's unique conditions, culture, and traditions, enables direct utilization of the tool. It benefits designers in creating sustainable buildings and assists national/local governments in evaluating and promoting their Circular Economy targets.
During this event, a WG1 meeting (approximately 1 day) will be held to delve into the advancements made in D3, along with a meticulous review and refinement of the requirements and timeline. This effort is undertaken with the overarching objective of ensuring a prompt and seamless submission process. Furthermore, a collaborative meeting involving members from both WG1 and WG4 (approximately 1 day) will also be held with the primary focus of determining the launch date of the E-learning section on the CircularB website and addressing pivotal requirements associated with this development. Notably, this collaborative effort pertains to the execution of tasks T1.4 and T4.3, which are inherently interconnected with the overarching objectives outlined in D10 (D5 in MoU). Marking a pivotal accomplishment, the launch of the E-learning section on the CircularB website stands as the second milestone (M2 in MoU) within the CircularB Action.
