About
The Quantum Communications Summer School is targeted towards professionals and practitioners in the computing industry, members of public institutions, students (undergrad, MSc, and PhD), postdocs, academics and the interested general public. The school will be held on-campus (Msida) and will take place during the third week of July (from 22 to 26 July) at the Msida Campus.
The school will be focusing on the different aspects of quantum communications, including concepts from quantum mechanics, mathematics, QKD protocols, error correction and the idea of QKD beyond point-to-point networks.

The Quantum Communications Summer School is open for any interested candidate that has some basic knowledge of Quantum Mechanics, Communications, ICT or has gained experience in the Communications industry.

Schedule
Weekdays 13:00 to 17:30 on campus. The format comprises a 2-hour lecture followed by a 2-hour practical with a 30-minute networking and tea & coffee break in between.
Attendees are expected to bring their own laptop and basic stationery.

Assessment & Certification
Attendees will not be evaluated and graded. A certificate of attendance will be awarded to attendees who attend all the sessions.
Registration
Attendees can register and pay for the summer school online. Payment is required at the time of registration. Seats are allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
