ART Connect Recycling Mural Project

The ART Connect Recycling Mural Project celebrates creativity and sustainability at the University of Malta. The University of Malta Library invites students and staff to submit mural concepts that combine artistic expression with recycled materials, promoting environmental awareness. The goal is to inspire and engage the UM community while demonstrating the Library's commitment to sustainable practices and support for student-driven artistic initiatives.

A winning mural will be displayed in the Library for at least two years, showcasing the intersection of art and environmental consciousness. This project highlights the Library as a space for creative expression and fosters community involvement and dialogue around sustainability.

Whether working individually or as a group, applicants are encouraged to design murals that reflect recycling and environmental responsibility themes. By combining artistic talent with eco-friendly materials, this initiative aligns with UM’s dedication to fostering a greener, more sustainable campus.
