My studies at the Institute of Linguistics and Language Technology provided me with invaluable skills that I utilize every day working for a nonprofit organization in New York City. As a student of linguistics, I developed several transferable competencies, such as how to reason analytically, how to identify trends and patterns, and how to analyze large amounts of data. Moreover, completing my degree at the Institute instilled in me a lifelong love of research, which has manifested itself in an independent research study that I pursue in my free time. I am incredibly grateful to the Institute and its faculty, and for how it continues to shape my journey post-graduation.
