Project MUSE, a non-profit collaboration between libraries and publishers, is an online database of peer-reviewed academic journals and electronic books.
MUSE hosts more than 800 journals and over 100,000 books from 400 leading university presses, scholarly societies, and related publishers.
Their mission is to support the scholarly publishing ecosystem by offering reasonably-priced content from non-profit publishers to libraries and returning sustaining revenue to the publishers.
