The Edward de Bono Institute for Creative Thinking & Innovation is kickstarting World Creativity and Innovation Week on Thursday 15 April 2021 with a programme of activities aimed at inspiring members of the Institute, and the general public to think out of the box.

“Living Sustainably” is the theme of a webinar intended for undergraduates and the general public, with the participation of Ms Joanne Scicluna from local charity organisation, Createhope, Ms Anne Fenech from the business, Dear Maggie, Ms Susan Warner from Gozo Crafty Ladies, and Dr Margaret Mangion, a Senior Lecturer at the Institute.

Mr Jean-Michel Azzopardi, an entrepreneur and expert on Cybercrime and BlockChain from Kralanx Cyber Security will be interviewed by Prof. Sandra M. Dingli as part of study-unit IOT5028 Innovation and New Digital Technologies. Students will then ask additional questions.

Workshop with students from the MCAST Institute for the Creative Arts, aimed at the General Public.

Workshop bringing together persons with different disabilities and employers. This is by invitation, and includes the participation of Ms Sandra Borg from the Commission for the Rights of Persons with Disability (CRPD).

Meet the Business People of 2021, who are also former students of the Institute. Including the participation of Mr Sebastian Ripard, the CEO of Bolt, Mr Mark Farrugia, the founder of ShowsHappening, Mr Stefan Debattista, the Co-Founder of ShowsHappening, Ms Sarah Woods from SHE, and Ms Krystle Penza from MVintage.

Showcasing Creativity: Interviews with Master in Digital Arts students on their dissertation students. Open to the general public. With the participation of Prof. Vince Briffa, Dr Trevor Borg and Dr Margaret Mangion.

With the participation of the Vittoriosa Primary School, an exhibition with the students focusing on the theme ‘Creative Thinking’ will be on display, virtually.
