Costantino Oliva is a Lecturer and course coordinator at the Institute of Digital Games. His doctorate focuses on musical participation in digital games. He also holds an M.Sc. in Media Technology and Games awarded by the IT University of Copenhagen and an M.A. in Communication awarded by the Università Suor Orsola Benincasa, Naples.

His research focuses on digital games, applying the topic a diverse range of disciplines including music and sounds studies, soundscape research, and media studies. He also participated in various game development projects funded by international institutions (including the Danske Filmskole, the Malta Arts Fund, and the University of Antwerp).
